The movie stars you see on the screen have once been selected amongst others. The glamor of the premiere is preceded by mug shots, selections, interviews, wining, dining, backstabbing and sex. In the end, everyone gets what they deserve.

Justy Ueki Tylor had his life all planned out: join the military, get a cushy desk job, and then retire with a big fat pension check. The perfect plan... until he wandered into a hostage situation and somehow managed to save an admiral! Inspired by Neil Simon's early career experience as a junior writer for Your Show of Shows, the play focuses on Sid Caesar/Jackie Gleason-like Max Prince, the star of a weekly comedy-variety show circa 1953, and his staff, including Simon's alter-ego Lucas Brickman, who maintains a running commentary on the writing, fighting, and wacky antics which take place in the writers' room

Post-war provincial Iceland: around 1950, Freyja, who'd been a plump teen, returns from America, a widow with a 20-inch waist, seven suitcases of dresses, and a list of who ever wronged or slighted her. She moves in with an aunt and socialist uncle: finding a new husband is high on her agenda, and she's mistrusted by Agga, a pre-teen who's our eyes and ears. The social order and Freyja are more complicated than they seem at first, and so may be her prospects. Class divisions, families ties, pride, the onset of puberty, and the power of Eros sliver the ice.

Six long months have passed. The Raalgon Empire has developed a horrible new type of weapon, and Tylor has been charged with the duty of intercepting it as it is being transported. But when all that could go wrong does go wrong, the crew members of the Soyokaze find themselves at the mercy of their enemies. As the hours tick down toward their execution, the crew wonders: has their irresponsible captain misled them? Or is this all a part of some greater strategy?

The members of Crazy Cats play employees of a trading company. Ueda Hitoshi of Awa Shoji, a lucky man who never loses a bet, and the managing director, a gambling fanatic, are scammed in a business deal and set off for Macau where the mastermind, Chang, is located for a gambling showdown. Kei Tani plays the role of the Macau gambling manager.

Love is blind. In the literal and figurative sense. A middle-aged man falls in love with a young girl and loses his head. As a result of an accident the man becomes completely blind. After surgery, they rent a summer house at the countryside to relax. The girl becomes his only companion and guide in this new strange blind world. But the man feels that there is someone else in the house.

Swinging London in the 1960s. Deals with the affection of a middle-aged man for a very young woman, resulting in a mutually parasitic relationship.
